Mastery is the term used for Warframe experience. As a player levels up different Warframes and weapons, it earns mastery towards their total player level. For every level a weapon gains, it will provide the player with 100 points, and 200 for Warframes, Companions and Archwings. However, an item can only count towards mastery once. If it is reset using polarization, or a second identical item is bought, it will not count towards mastery points.
Leveling up Mastery has benefits for the players. Some weapons that are more powerful are Mastery Locked, and require the player to reach a certain level before they can be used, or crafted. Increasing mastery rank will also increase the number of premade loadouts, number of extractors a player can deploy, and the maximum reputation one can earn with a syndicate.
Mastery Rank Test:
Rank 0-1: 3 waves of Extermination with a primary weapon
Rank 1-2: 3 waves of Extermination with a secondary weapon
Rank 2-3: 3 waves of Extermination with a melee weapon
Rank 3-4: 1:30 long Survival against infested
Rank 4-5: Console Hacking test
Rank 5-6: An aiming test where you follow a set of light up spheres that have to be shot (stationary)
Rank 6-7: Players have 1 minute to exterminate 3 waves of enemies, all weapons and powers available
Rank 7-8: An aiming test where you follow a set of light up spheres that have to be shot (mobile)
Rank 8-9: Clear a mission while stealthed, assassinating every enemy without being detected.
Rank 9-10: Players are standing on 1 square in a 3x3 grid. After 8 seconds, the platform will vanish. Kill all enemies before all platforms are gone
Rank 10-11: An aiming test where you follow a set of light up spheres that have to be shot (mobile)
Rank 11-12: Exterminate enemies while avoiding laser traps
Rank 12-13: Players are standing on 1 square in a stacked grid pattern. After 8 seconds, the platform will vanish. Kill all enemies before all platforms are gone
Rank 13-14: Players have a time limit to exterminate 3 waves of enemies, all weapons and powers available
Rank 14-15: Interception test. Get your % to 100 before the enemy units by holding 3 points
Rank 15-16: Defend a cryopod against 3 waves of enemies
Rank 16-17: Kill 30 enemies within a time limit
Rank 17-18: Defend a cryopod against 5 waves of enemies
Rank 18-19: Clear a mission while stealthed, destroying 6 orbs without being detected.
Rank 19-20: Archwing mission, speed to the end of the mission before time runs out. Collect rings to increase timer.
Rank 20-21: Kill 35 enemies while running through a course before timer ends. Destroy orbs with melee to increase timer.
