What is Platinum?
Platinum is the in-game premium currency of Warframe used to purchase various enhancements in the game, including, but not limited to, upgrades, boosts, weapons and Warframes.
How long does it usually take for Platinum to show up in my account?
Depending on payment service used, Platinum goes into the account instantly. However, some payment services take approximately 24-48 hours to fully process a payment for the order to be applied to the Warframe account. If you have not received your order after 48 hours, please create a ticket with all details mentioned below so support can assist you!
Does Warframe add any kind of service charge on payments?
Warframe does not add any kind of service charge on payments. However, check with your individual payment service (PayPal, qiwi wallet, daopay) to check if they add on service charges.
What Information should I provide to Warframe Support for Payment inquiries?
When creating a ticket for your payment, it is very important that you are as clear and descriptive as possible. It can take longer for the issue to be resolved, if we do not have all of the required information. You can shorten the time it takes us to fix or assist you with issues if you provide:
- Choice of payment service (PayPal, Mobile payment, etc)
- Confirmation / Transaction ID numbers for the payment
- Screenshots of confirmation of payment if applicable
- Mobile phone number used if payment was made through mobile service
- Date and time of payment
- Item purchased (Prime Access Package, 1000 Platinum bundle)
Why does my payment keep getting rejected?
There are a number of reasons as to why a payment can be rejected. Some of the most common are:
Billing IP address and Purchase IP Address are too far apart, this usually occurs if you are traveling, deployed, on vacation or have moved recently. This requires you to update all information and then trying again.
Web Errors - if you save / bookmark the payment lightbox page and try to make a fresh payment through the bookmarked link, or if you are making multiple purchases and use the BACK button on your browser.
Invalid Credit Card Info - Please double check and make sure that all credit card information is valid before you hit submit to complete your purchase.
Why do I constantly get redirected to the Steam Wallet FAQ when trying to complete my purchase?
This usually means that there is something on Steams end blocking your account from making purchases, whether it be completely or higher than a certain amount. This requires you to contact Steam directly, as Warframe staff has no power to make any adjustment to your Steam account.
What is the Refund Policy ?
Just like *any* online service, once a product has been used, refunds are no longer available. Specifically, if you have purchased Platinum/Prime Access packs and then spent the Platinum or used the items included we cannot offer a refund for the package. Please also note that refunds are only available for a limited time after the purchase.
Where can I check my payment history?
After every purchase you receive a confirmation e-mail from the payment provider you chose; you can check these to go back to any past payment you made for more details on the transaction.
If you ask the support staff nicely, they can also provide you with some information about your purchase history (billing payments, not individual Platinum purchases in the in-game market). The support team does this manually and it can take a bit of time if you made several purchases on your account so be patient!
