How many characters can I have in my alias? What special characters are allowed?
Your alias must be at least 4 characters long. The only special characters that are allowed in your username are . , - and _ . Your alias must meet the community guidelines outlined here: Player Name Policy
For PC players:
You can change your alias from here: https://warframe.com/user. You may change your Alias as often as you like. The cost of changing your Alias is 200 Platinum each time.
For Nintendo Switch Players:
You can change your alias from the in-game menu under "Change Alias". You may change your alias as often as you like, but changing your alias will cost you 200 Platinum each time.
For PlayStation and/or Xbox Players:
Your alias is tied with your PSN account or your Microsoft Account. Please refer to the following articles for information on how you can change your alias.
Changing your Alias will take effect immediately on Warframe.com, Forums, support and in-game including Friends Lists. If you don't see your Alias change immediately upon submission completion, please log out and log back into the website.
